How to Create an eAlbum Flipbook: Step-by-Step Guide

Follow the complete eAlbum workflow from studio setup and ordered sheet uploads to private preview, publication, QR download and client delivery.

1. Register and verify the studio account

Begin with a real email address because eAlbum sends a one-time verification code before creating the account. Enter the correct phone number and studio contact information, create a strong password and complete the security question. If another photographer referred you, enter their code at registration; it cannot reliably be attached after an unrelated account has already been created. After OTP verification, sign in and review the available plan limits. The Free plan is useful for learning the workflow, while Basic and Pro provide the published studio and flipbook allowances shown on the pricing page.

2. Add an accurate studio profile

Create the studio before starting the client album. Use the trading name customers recognize, a monitored email address, the current telephone or WhatsApp number and a clean logo. Add social links only when they belong to the studio. These details may appear inside public album information and customized QR materials, so spelling and ownership matter. Basic supports the studio limit stated in its plan; Pro supports the higher published allowance. If the studio dropdown is empty during album creation, return to studio management and confirm that the profile is active.

3. Prepare covers, DM pages and inner sheets

Export web-ready copies of the approved album design while keeping print masters in a separate archive. Prepare the front cover and back cover individually. Number inner sheets with padded filenames so their intended sequence is obvious. A DM opening can be uploaded as one 12×36 spread for splitting or as exactly two separate 12×18 images in DM-1 and DM-2 order. Use supported formats and inspect every file before selection. eAlbum can process oversized supported images, but intentional web exports reduce transfer time and make visual quality more predictable.

4. Create a private draft and arrange every sheet

Enter the client name, album title and event date, then choose a viewer template that supports the photography. Upload the assets and watch the progress dialog until Google Drive processing completes; browser transfer reaching 100 percent does not replace the final storage confirmation. Use the thumbnail arranger to move each inner sheet into its intended position. If an upload fails, read the displayed file names and reason, correct only the remaining items and retry. Avoid uploading the complete set again without checking which batches already succeeded, because that can introduce duplicate sheets.

5. Review the private preview before publication

Open the private preview and move from the front cover through every sheet to the back cover. Confirm that DM halves are on the intended first and last positions, no spread appears twice, titles and dates are correct, and the studio identity is visible without covering photographs. Test page navigation, fullscreen, sharing dialogs, music, page-turn sound and responsive controls. Repeat the review on a phone in portrait and landscape orientation. Keep the album as a draft while changes are still required; editing a private preview is safer than correcting a link that has already reached clients.

6. Publish, generate the QR card and deliver

Publish only after the studio or client approves the preview. The dashboard then exposes the public flipbook action, link and QR customization tools. Choose a readable QR colour scheme with sufficient contrast, decide whether the studio logo belongs in the centre, and download either the full branded card or QR-only file. Scan the final export on another phone before printing or sending it. Share one canonical eAlbum link through WhatsApp, email or the client portal and mention that landscape view is ideal for wide spreads. Keep independent copies of the original images and approved designs because a public viewing link is not the studio’s only archive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I publish before uploading all album pages?

No. Upload, arrange and privately preview the complete album first. Publish only when the covers, pages, details and controls are correct.

Can I rearrange inner sheets?

Yes. Use the thumbnail arranger before upload or while editing the draft to establish the correct first-to-last sequence.

Why can upload progress remain busy after browser transfer reaches 100 percent?

The server may still be transferring and confirming files with Google Drive. Keep the progress dialog open until the final success message appears.

How do clients receive the completed album?

Share the published link directly or provide the tested QR code or branded QR card generated from the dashboard.
