Digital Album Guides

Practical instructions for creating, managing and sharing client flipbooks.

Creating Your First Flipbook

Create a studio from your dashboard, choose Add Flipbook, enter the client and event details, then save. Open Upload Assets to add covers, inner sheets, DM pages, branding and music.

Uploading and Organizing Images

Select up to 100 inner sheets. eAlbum checks and compresses large images before upload. Drag thumbnails to arrange desktop order or use the arrow controls on mobile, then upload the validated set.

Choosing the Right Template

Choose a viewer template when creating or editing the flipbook. Black Bloom offers a dark cinematic presentation, while the other themes provide different colours and decorative effects.

Account Setup and Verification

Register with an active email address, complete the simple verification step and sign in. Your available studios and flipbooks depend on the active plan shown in Plans & Pricing.

Flipbook Editing Features

Use Flipbook Management to update client information, event details, status and viewer template. Upload Assets lets you add or replace covers, logo, soundtrack and album pages.

Adding Titles and Client Details

The flipbook title, customer name, event date and studio information appear in the public presentation. Update these fields from Edit Flipbook whenever client details change.

Customizing Viewer Animations

Viewer templates control the background, particles and decorative motion. Visitors can also use the animation control inside the album when they prefer a quieter presentation.

Studio Branding and Logo

Add your studio details in the Studio tab and upload a logo through Upload Assets. The public album uses these details to create a recognisable, client-ready presentation.

Publishing Your Flipbook

Set the flipbook status to Active or Published, confirm every page in the preview and copy its public link. Draft or inactive albums are not intended for client distribution.

Original Album Files and PDF Export

eAlbum is designed for online viewing and sharing. Keep your original print-ready album or PDF in your studio archive; the uploaded sheets are optimized for interactive web delivery.

Sharing on WhatsApp and Social Media

Open the public flipbook and use Share to send its secure link through WhatsApp, Facebook, X or any app supported by the device. You can also copy the link manually.

Using Flipbooks on Your Website

Link to the public flipbook from your portfolio, client gallery or website button. Open it in a new tab so visitors retain their place on your main site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions

Creating your first flipbook is easy! Simply sign up for an account, choose a template, upload your images, and customize your layout. Our step-by-step guide will walk you through the entire process.

Inner sheets support JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP images. For reliable delivery, use optimized high-quality web exports within the displayed file-size limit.

You can choose a viewer template and add client details, studio branding, a logo, covers, DM pages, and optional background music.

Publish the album and share its public link through WhatsApp, email, social media, or your client portal.

Will eAlbum reduce the quality of my wedding album images?

eAlbum preserves a high-quality web viewing copy and automatically compresses an inner sheet only when it exceeds 15 MB. Keep the original print-ready JPG, PSD, or PDF files in your studio archive.

Who can view a wedding flipbook after I share it?

Anyone who receives an active published flipbook link can open it. The underlying Google Drive folder is not displayed to visitors, so treat the album URL as a shareable client link.

How many album sheets and files can I store?

You can select up to 100 inner sheets at once, with a maximum of 15 MB per inner sheet. Account limits are based on flipbook count—1 on Free, 40 on Basic, and 100 on Pro—while available cloud capacity depends on the connected Google Drive account.

Is eAlbum better than sharing a Google Drive folder or PDF?

They serve different purposes. A Drive folder transfers files and a PDF provides a static document; eAlbum preserves designed page order in a branded, interactive viewer with page turns, music, sharing controls, and mobile access.

Does eAlbum work on mobile phones?

Yes. Published flipbooks work in modern mobile, tablet, and desktop browsers without an app. Landscape orientation provides the widest album view on a phone.
